Mayfair / Jacks Chicken Shack is closed. They closed after failing to reopen for the 2019 season. Owner John has reverted to his own menu and recipes shortly after Gordon visited.

Le Deck is closed. They closed after failing to open for the 2017 summer season. After filming business was up and Steve had returned to their other restaurant in the mountains.

La Granada Divino is closed. They closed in September 2015, two years after filming, as owners Milan and Gina retired from the restaurant trade.

Quelcuttis Tapas is closed. They closed in 2015, 14 months after Gordon visited with his changes blamed for the closure.

Pantaleone's is open. Business improved 70% after the episode aired and they added a delivery service in 2017. Reviews are positive

Kati Allo is closed. They closed in April 2014, days after the episode aired. The closure was temporary for renovations but they never reopened.

Mangia Mangia is closed. They closed in November 2014 and Trevor went to rehab, got clean and planned to go to culinary school.

Zayna Flaming Grill is open. The restaurant was sold to a new owner in September 2015 and reviews are mostly positive.

Bella Luna is closed. They closed 3 and a half months after filming in November 2013 and blamed a dispute with the landlord.

La Galleria 33 is closed. They closed suddenly in November 2018 with no announcement of the closure.

Barefoot Bobs is closed. They closed suddenly in December 2016 with no announcement of the closure. Prior to the closure they reverted to their old menu and brought back the tiki decor.

Mama Maria's is open. John returned some customer favourites to the menu and tweaked recipes. Reviews are mostly positive with compliments to John, the atmosphere and service.

Ms Jean's Southern Cuisine is open. They moved to a new location and reviews are positive. Reviews have improved significantly since 2017.

Levanti's American Bistro is closed. They closed in November 2013 after Tony decided to retire nine months after the episode was aired.

Sam's Mediterranean kabob Room is closed. They closed in January 2014 as appearing on the show didn't increase customers numbers and more competition had opened in the area.

Nino's Italian Restaurant is closed. They closed in August 2016 due to retirement. Carina said that the remodel was done using cheap furniture that were not fit for purpose.

Mill Street Bistro is closed. Joe renamed the restaurant to Maple City Tavern and they closed in February 2016. Joe sued Gordon after the episode for missing items and damage to the restaurant.

Yanni's Greek Restaurant is open. They returned some of their old dishes to the menu and reviews are mostly positive with the moussaka being a hit with customers.

Prohibition Grille is closed. They closed in July 2017. Chef Rocky opened his own restaurant that had excellent reviews prior to its closure.

Chappy's is closed. Chappy blames the closure on Gordon and has opened and closed a number of restaurants since appearing on the show.

Amy's Baking Company is closed. Amy closed the restaurant in September due to landlord troubles and after much online drama to open an online cookery school. Amy and Samy now live in Israel.

Blackberry's is closed. They closed in March 2013 as Shelly no longer saw room for growth, were maintaining and not getting the clientele they wanted.

Leone's is open. Gordon revisited, the chefs had been fired and Michael wasn't at the restaurant, he stepped up and reviews are mostly positive. Rose sadly passed away in April 2014.

Mike and Nellie's is closed. They closed in January 21st 2012 and Mike now owns his own catering company.

Luigi's D' Italia is open. The restaurant moved location in December 2017 and opened a catering service. Reviews are positive with praise for the lasagna and pizza.

Burger Kitchen is closed. The restaurant was sold to new owners in August 2011, was rebranded and closed in February 2012.

The Greek at the Harbor is open. Some customers didn't like the changes but reviews are generally positive with praise for the entertainment and food.

Michon's is closed. They closed in August 2013 and two other locations closed - Downtown burnt down in a fire in March 2012 and Peach Tree Centre closed in early 2018. Reviews at the original location were negative after filming.

El Greco is closed. They closed in December 2011 as their debts were too large. Many staff had left due to conflict and reviews after filming were negative with complaints on food and service.

Park's Edge is closed. They closed in early 2014 after their lease ran out and they did not open in a new location. They returned some items to the menu due to customer requests.

Spin A Yarn Steakhouse is open. They returned some dishes to the menu as requested by regulars and reviews are positive with the prime rib remaining a big hit with diners.

Charlie's Italian Bistro is closed. They closed in July 2012 and Genevieve sadly passed away from complications due to epilepsy.

Cafe Hon is open. The locals appear to have forgiven Denise for the Hon trademark issue and reviews are positive with the meatloaf being popular among diners.

Chiarella's Ristorante is closed. They closed on the 30th June 2015 after their lease expired and they could not afford an increase in rent.

Zocalo is closed. They closed January 2013 after failing to open after Christmas due to spiralling debts including for taxes. Greg and Mary divorced and he remarried waitress Maria.

Spanish Pavillion is open. Michael has stepped away from the business and business is up since filming. Reviews are positive with praise for the paella and sangria.

Classic American is closed. The restaurant closed in August 2013 and they continued offering catering services.

PJ's Steakhouse is closed. They closed a few weeks after filming in May 2010 as the takings were low and the debts were high and returned to the construction trade.

Grasshopper Also is closed. They closed in October 2012, was sold and reopened with new management, new staff and a new makeover. The restaurant has changed hands many times since.

Davide is closed. They closed in May 2014 after being sold in January 2014, as the owners wanted to start a farming venture and food tours of Boston North End.

Downcity is closed.They closed on 10th December 2011, after struggling in the decline of the local economy. Aby is now a personal trainer.

Rizzy Home G00626 Window Panel, 72"X72", Light Blue is closed. They closed in December 2010, just weeks after filming with an answerphone recording saying that they were closing for medical reasons.

Kingston Cafe is closed. They closed as a restaurant in August 2018, however the space is still used for events and catering functions.

La Frite is closed. The restaurant was sold to a new owner in July 2016 and closed in September 2017 when the owner changed the restaurant to an Italian eatery called Modo Mio.

The Capri Restaurant featured in Kitchen Nightmares season 4 episode 10 and is closed. They closed in September 2019 due to the twins health issues and declining sales at the restaurant.

Zeke's is closed. They closed in October 2012 after taping a notice to the door and the restaurant was sold to new owners. Daryll and Ellen now own LUCA Eats in New Orleans.

Oceana Grill is open. The restaurant was sold to new owners, who have sued the production company over clips showing the poor state of the kitchen as this does not represent the higher standards under their ownership.

Flamangos/The Junction is closed. They closed in April 2011 as Bill and Adele decided to re-retire to Florida. Cheryl moved out of her parents house in 2016.

Bazzini is closed. Bazzini closed in June 2010 and Paul now works as a chef with his son. In a revisit we see Sharyn who had began working full time baking her cakes.

Mojito is closed. Mojito closed in March 2016 and Katalina went travelling, documenting her food journey on Instagram.

Lido di Manhattan is open. They host regular wine tasting and music events that are a huge hit and reviews are mostly positive with a few criticisms on service.

Le Bistro is open. They expanded into providing produce to a local market. Reviews are positive with the beef wellington and mushroom soup receiving rave reviews.

Casa Roma is closed. They reverted to their old menu and briefly rebranded as The AV Roadhouse Restaurant Bar & Grill before reverting back.They closed in July 2017.

Mama Rita's is closed. They closed in December 2010 after abandoning Gordon's menu but the catering business continued for a number of years.

Anna Vincenzo's is closed.They closed in April 2010 and Cece sold the restaurant so that she could spend more time with her children. Cece and Michael had seperated.

Fleming is closed. They closed in October 2010, 5 months after airing after trying a number of different menus and event nights.

Sushi Ko is closed. They closed in August 2009. Lisa believes it was too little too late and Samy blames the show and the local economy.

Handlebar is closed. They closed in 2009 shortly after Gordon revisited and the restaurant was sold. Bill sadly passed away after a cancer battle in November 2015.

Blue Q Dish Towel, All Food is Dog Food (just ask your dog) 100% is closed. They closed in July 2009, blaming the economy and the lack of a liquor license for the closure.

Trobiano's is closed. They closed in October 2008 after the restaurant was seized by the state for not paying their taxes.

Black Pearl is closed. They closed just 4 days after the episode aired with owner David posting one a passive aggressive rant online at Gordon.

J Willy's is closed. They closed in February 2009 after choosing to close rather than cut quality due to increasing food costs.

Hannah & Mason's is closed. They They closed in February 2010 with Chris blaming Gordon's menu and falling customer numbers for both the bistro and catering services.

Jack's Waterfront is closed. They closed in December 2010, presumably due to their debts as reviews were much more positive after the episode was filmed.

Sabatiello's is closed. They closed in October 2008 and Samy told the media that he regretted appearing on the show. He opened another pizzeria that closed due to unpaid rent.

Fiesta Sunrise is closed. They closed in September 2008 after the restaurant was seized due to failing to pay taxes. They had closed the previous year due to failing to pay taxes but paid in full and reopened.

Santé La Brea is closed. They closed in June 2011 after selling the restaurant. Dean retired in 2009 and was living overseas and the restaurant was run by his sons prior to closure.

Cafe 36 is closed. They closed on 18 April 2009 with the owners blaming the economy and Gordon's changes to the restaurant for the closure.

Peters is closed. They closed in December 2008 and their father passed away in 2009.

Dillons/Purnima is closed. They closed in 2009 and Martin tried to sue Gordon for $3million and to stop the show being aired but it was thrown out of court.

The Mixing Bowl is closed. They closed in January 2009. The restaurant had closed briefly before the filming of the show but reopened for filming.

Seascape is closed. They closed in August 2017 just five months after the episode was filmed and after reverting back to their old menu.

The Olde Stone Mill is open. The restaurant was sold to new owners in 2009 and Dean opened an Italian restaurant that closed in 2015. Dean has had minor acting roles and hosted a hunting show.

Sebastians is closed. They closed in January 2008 after the family moved back to Boston. Sebastian had a small part in a movie and runs landscaping and financial companies.

Finn McCool's is closed. They sold the restaurant in 2009 with the family continuing to work there. They closed in March 2012 after an issue with the lease.

Lelas is closed. They closed shortly after filming as Lela's debts were too high to recover.

Campania is closed. The restaurant was sold in September 2010 and eight days later Joe sadly took his own life. They closed in January 2011.

The Secret Garden is closed. They closed in March 2010 after selling the restaurant, this sale fell through but he found another buyer. He had abandoned Gordon's changes quickly after filming.

The Dovecote Bistro/Martins is closed. They closed in October 2015 as the business was sold to new owners, they had abandoned the upstairs bistro and focused on the cafe side of the business.

Runaway Girl/Silversmiths is open. Justin sold the restaurant to new owners in April 2017 after winning numerous awards and it has changed hands multiple times since and has closed without warning.

Ruby Tates/Loves Fish is closed. They closed in January 2009, due to the drop in the local economy leading to a lack of bookings

The Priory is closed. They closed in 2008 after Scott reverted the restaurant back to serving carvery dinners and abandoning Gordon's idea of a grill house.

2 Piece Swimsuits for Women Swim Dress Tummy Control Swimwear Ta is closed. Raz sold the restaurant in 2015 and it closed in 2018. In 2017 Raz admitted to £65,000 of tax fraud in relation to the restaurant.

Piccolo Teatro is closed. They closed in April 2007 before Gordon revisited and Rachel became a hooker. India has had a very successful kitchen career after work experience with Gordon.

The Granary is closed. They closed in January 2008 after an arson attack gutted the restaurant. The arsonist was jailed in September 2018 after spending 10 years on the run.

The Fish and Anchor is closed. They closed in 2008, the business listed for sale at £295,000 and was sold in 2009. After the closure Mike planned to move to Italy.

La Parra de Burriana is closed. They closed in August 2008 with Lawrence closing the restaurant suddenly and Lawrence has since changed his name.

The Fenwick Arms is open. The pub was sold in 2009 and has changed hands twice since. Brian and Elaine are now at The Ship Inn in Aldborough.

Rococo/Maggies is closed. They closed in September 2007 and they filed for bankruptcy.

Morgans is closed. They closed as the business was sold in November 2007. Sandy returned to her antiques shop, Laura was an actress with some bit parts and Phil was jailed for theft for stealing cheques.

La Lanterna is closed. Despite an increase in business, they closed in 2006 and the building was put up for sale.

D-Place is closed. They closed weeks after filming in 2004. It went into receivership and the lease was put up for sale before Gordon was able to revisit.

Momma Cherri's is closed. Shortly after filming they moved into a much larger restaurant called Momma Cherri's Big House restaurant. They closed in 2009 due to large debts.

La Riviera is open. The restaurant was renamed to Contrast and has positive reviews. Loic returned to France and opened L'atelier du peintre, which gained a Michelin star in 2011.

The Sandgate Hotel is open. The business was sold by Lois and Peter in 2006 and has changed hands at least twice since.

Clubway 41/Jacksons featured in Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares season 2 episode 7 and is closed. They closed in September 2006, shortly after Gordon revisited and they seemed to have given up.

La Gondola is closed. The restaurant closed in 2007 and the hotel remained open for a few more years. The abandoned building was targeted by squatters and vandals and Daniella sadly passed away in July 2019.

Oscars is closed. They closed in October 2005 as Maura sold the restaurant and Lenin went into rehab.

Bonapartes is closed. They closed in 2005 and was sold for £450,000. Sue was left homeless and in debt and both Sue and Tim were disqualified from driving for drink driving.

The Glass House is closed. They closed in March 2014 and reopened as The Fulling Mill. The restaurant is still owned by Neil Farrell.

The Walnut Tree Inn is open. They closed in February 2007 and reopened in December under a new owner. The restaurant was awarded a Michelin star in 2010 and every year since.

Moore Place is closed. They closed in 2006 when the owners sold the restaurant after starting to go back to their old ways.

Gordon identifies the issues at the hotel and fixes them before relaunching the hotel and restaurant.

Hotel Hell aired from August 2012 on Fox and season 4 has yet to be announced.

Juniper Hill Inn is closed.

The hotel went into foreclosure with debts of $1.1million in April 2014.

It was sold to new owners in 2015 for $400,000.

They invested $500,000 in renovating the hotel as it was left in a state of disrepair.

The hotel reopened as the Windsor Mansion Inn.

Cambridge Hotel is closed.

The hotel was put in foreclosure in April 2012 and closed in June.

The building was sold at auction for $375000 and was converted into an assisted living residence.

Keating Hotel is open.

A suite has been named after Gordon Ramsay in the hotel.

Reviews are mixed with praise for location and service but complaints about the rooms.

River Rock Inn is closed.

The hotel closed in December 2014.

The hotel was sold to the previous owners who reopened the hotel as Laurel Country Inn.

Roosevelt Inn is open.

They named a suite after Gordon.

Reviews are excellent with praise for the owners, service, rooms and food.



Hotel Hell Season 2

Meson De Mesilla is open.

The hotel is operating under new ownership.

It was given a new name after Cali sold the hotel in August 2014 for $2.85 million.

The hotel is now called Hacienda De Mesilla and reviews are excellent.

Monticello Hotel is closed.

Monticello Hotel closed in 2016 due to owner Philips debts.

The hotel underwent a million dollar renovation and changed hands more than four times between 2016 and 2019.

It was converted into studio apartments in 2019.

Philip was sentenced to 90 days in prison in July 2016 for threatening a District Court judge.

Applegate River Lodge is open.

Reviews are very mixed with many giving negative reviews of wedding services and a mixed response to the hotel and restaurant.

Hotel Chester is open.

The Gordon Burger is still popular as is the new beer garden.

Reviews are very positive with compliments on the customer service, rooms and food.

Calumet Inn is open.

Rina and Vanda sold the hotel in June 2015 and the hotel has been resold since.

In March 2020 the hotel was briefly condemned by the city after a fire inspection found 9 violations of the fire code.

The work was undertaken and the hotel was uncondemned in April 2020.

Four Seasons Inn/Laylas Riverside Lodge is open.

Reviews are very positive about the dog friendly hotel.

Customers love being able to bring their dogs and praise the service and food.

Curtis House Inn is closed.

Curtis House Inn closed in April 2019 after being sold to new owners.

The inn was renovated and reopened as Evergreen Inn & Tavern in 2019.

It was sold once again in June 2020 and reopened as 1754 House

Murphys Hotel is open.

Reviews are positive for both the hotel and restaurant.

The service, food and atmosphere are praised by customers.



Hotel Hell Season 3

Aired: May to July 2016

Closure Rate: 14%



Anglers Lodge is open.

Reviews are mostly positive with praise for the location, food in the restaurant and service.

They now also have cabins available for rental.

Vienna Inn is closed.

They returned to their old ways after Gordon left.

Vienna Inn closed in November 2017 after the hotel suffered from a fire due to non working fire alarms that caused around $75,000 of damage.

The building was sold to a new owner for $30,000 in 2018.

Town's Inn is open.

Reviews are mostly positive with customers loving the service and breakfast but complaining of the lack of en-suite bathrooms.

Karan has moved back into the hotel and is now living in a room on the second floor.

A number of the other hotel rooms have been renovated since the show.

Lakeview Hotel is open.

Owner Brent undid most of the changes Gordon made in both the hotel and restaurant.

He further alienated himself from the locals and the reputation remained poor.

Reviews were very mixed with both complaints and praise of service and atmosphere at the hotel.

In 2019/2020, the rating of Google reviews declined dramatically with many complaints about Brents behaviour towards customers.

They continued to make renovations to the rooms and restaurant.

CJ became more present at the hotel.

Reviews after the episode are mixed with some calling the dated hotel charming and others complaining of dust and cleanliness issues.

Beachfront Inn & Inlet is open.

Brian made a large number of renovations to the hotel and bar.

He has installed new kitchenettes, introduced a new menu, new patio furniture and the garden has been landscaped.

Reviews were mixed with many complaints of noise from the bar disturbing paying guests.

The hotel has been listed for sale twice on Loopnet.

Landoll's Mohican Castle is open.

Jimmy took over as manager, lost 65lb and bookings have increased.

Reviews see praise from couples especially for the idyllic building and food and service is praised.

They now host over 100 weddings a year.

In 2018 they built a new block called The Stables, that contains 14 new suites.

Lowery's Seafood Restaurant is 24 Hours to Hell and Back season 3 episode 1 and is closed/b>. The buffet and crab cakes received rave reviews prior to the closure.

Blend on Main is 24 Hours to Hell and Back season 3 episode 2 and is open. Chef Lisa moved to Caneda's White Rooster and fish dishes on the menu are hits with customers.

Caneda's White Rooster is 24 Hours to Hell and Back season 3 episode 3. Chef Lisa from Blend on Main joined the team but they closed in March 2020, five months after the episode was filmed.

Botto's Italian Line Restaurant is 24 Hours to Hell and Back season 3 episode 4 and is open. Customers love the renovated dining room and the Sausage Alla Botto is popular.

Seafarer's Family Restaurant/Halterman's Eatery is 24 Hours to Hell and Back season 3 episode 5 and is open. Customers love the food with some complaints that they are offering less seafood.

adidas Unisex-Child Copa 20.3 Firm Ground Soccer Shoe is 24 Hours to Hell and Back season 3 episode 6 and is open. Customers love the soul food with cornbread, cabbage and collards receiving high praise.

The Park Restaurant and Bar is 24 Hours to Hell and Back season 3 episode 7 and is closed. The couple have separated and Ozzy no longer worked there. Reviews were hit and miss but customers loved the burgers.

Bear's Den Pizza is 24 Hours to Hell and Back season 3 episode 8 and is open. Steven is taking a break from the restaurant and they are bringing in the college crowd with food and drink specials and karaoke.

South Boulevard/SoBo is 24 Hours to Hell and Back season 3 episode 9 and is closed. SoBo closed in February 2020, the weekend before the show was aired due to unpaid rent and losing their liquor licence. Reviews after filming were mostly very positive.

The Little Market Cafe appeared on 24 Hours to Hell and Back season 3 episode 10 and is open. Customers love the new decor and have praised both the food and service since Gordon visited. The sandwiches in particular are a big hit with diners.

The Phoenix Upper Main appeared on 24 Hours to Hell and Back season 3 episode 10 and is open. Customers praise the friendly customer service and the food although some comment they will miss The Ellicott Brewing Company.

Jaxon Edwin appeared on 24 Hours to Hell and Back season 3 episode 10 and is closed. They closed after being unable to cover costs following the temporary closure and new restrictions. There are positive reviews for the barbers, bar and new menu after Gordon visited.


24 Hours to Hell and Back Season 2

Aired January 2nd - March 06 2019


The Trolley Stop Cafe is 24 Hours to Hell and Back season 2 episode 1 and is open. They re-introduced some of their old menu and poboy is a hit with customers but there are mixed reviews on the grits and hashbrowns.

Shanty on 19th is 24 Hours to Hell and Back season 2 episode 2 and is open. Diners love the burgers but recent reviews are more negative with the crab being subject of many complaints.

Vasi's Restaurant and Bar is 24 Hours to Hell and Back season 2 episode 3 and is closed. Vasi renamed the restaurant to Vasi's Taverna and reverted to the previous menu. They closed after receiving an offer for the restaurant. Although the sale fell through he decided to remain closed and seek another buyer.

Catfish Cabin is 24 Hours to Hell and Back season 2 episode 4 and is closed. Reviews after filming were mixed with plenty of negative reviews. The lease was taken over in August 2019 and was gradually changed over by the new owner before being renamed.

Stone's Throw is 24 Hours to Hell and Back season 2 episode 5 and is closed. The restaurant closed in January 2020 and was put up for sale for $900,000. Reviews prior to closure had declined with more complaints in reviews.

Bayou on the Vine is 24 Hours to Hell and Back season 2 episode 6 and is closed. They closed in June 2020. Customers praised the food, in particular the chicken wings and pasta. The happy hour drinks and live bands were a big hit with customers.

Boardwalk 11 is 24 Hours to Hell and Back season 2 episode 7 and is open. They changed the concept to a karaoke bar, sacked both Kats and bought back Richard and Keith. Reviews are mixed and have declined in 2020.

Los Toros Mexican Restaurant is 24 Hours to Hell and Back season 2 episode 8 and is open. Reviews are mostly positive with high praise for their margaritas and bean dip. They have had no food poisoning incidents but some customers have complained that they returned to their old menu.

Social Costa Mesa is 24 Hours to Hell and Back season 2 episode 9 and is open. Jayro returned to work at the restaurant and reviews are mostly positive. Customers especially love the brussel sprouts and chicken and waffles.

M'Dears Bakery and Bistro is 24 Hours to Hell and Back season 2 episode 10 and is open. They are popular for breakfast and the chicken and waffles and grits have rave reviews but the mac and cheese is hit and miss with diners.

Bella Gianna's is 24 Hours to Hell and Back season 1 episode 1 and is open. Reviews are mostly positive with praise for the low prices, friendly staff and great food. Some customers complain of shouting in the dining room and the restaurant being empty.

The Old Coffeepot Restaurant is 24 Hours to Hell and Back season 1 episode 2 and is closed. They closed in February 2019 due to declining business, lack of support for the changes from regulars and local construction.

Brownstone Bistro is 24 Hours to Hell and Back season 1 episode 3 and is open with new owners. The restaurant closed in October 2018 but reopened in January 2019 with Clive's menu, concept and decor. Reviews are mostly positive with complaints about unexpected closures of the restaurant.

Sherman's Restaurant is 24 Hours to Hell and Back season 1 episode 4 and is closed. They closed after a kitchen fire in January 2021. Reviews are mostly positive with praise to the food and service but some diners complain of a wait. Steve is now working as a butcher and they claim he was never paid $90,000.

La Serenata is 24 Hours to Hell and Back season 1 episode 5 and is open. Marco Snr has reverted to his old menu, is back to his old ways and Johnny has left. Reviews are mostly positive with customers loving the salsa and margaritas.

Fetch Bistro is 24 Hours to Hell and Back season 1 episode 6 and is closed. The owners blamed the location for the closure, which is a surprise as reviews from locals were mostly very positive. They were hoping to reopen in a new location.

Patrick Molloy's is 24 Hours to Hell and Back season 1 episode 7 and is open. They had to change the decor as retrospective planning permission was declined. Reviews are very mixed but customers praise the happy hour.

Sandra Dee's Bar-B-Que & Seafood is 24 Hours to Hell and Back season 1 episode 8 and is closed. They closed in order to be able to focus on the catering side of the business. Reviews were mixed prior to the closure.

Hell's Kitchen Winners Where Are They Now?

Hell's Kitchen features Gordon Ramsay as Head Chef alongside two sous chefs to support the contestants in the competition.

Each week there are a number of challenges to test the culinary skills of the contestants, who are all competing for a prize of their own restaurant or the option of working alongside top chefs including Gordon.

Below you can read about the Hell's Kitchen winners in order and find out what happened next the Hell's Kitchen Winners from Season 1 to Season 18.


Michael Wray was a professional chef from Fort Collins, Colorado. His dishes were well received by both Gordon and critics and Michael Wray was the Hell's Kitchen season 1 winner. His choice of prize was to either open his own restaurant or to travel to London to apprentice with Gordon in one of his restaurants.

After Hell's Kitchen, Michael accepted to work with Gordon but once he realised the strains this would put on his family, he decided not to take up the prize.

He went on to be Head Chef at The Standard in Los Angeles before moving to Arizona. He planned to open his open restaurant HK One, ran his own knife company and taught culinary classes.

In recent years he suffered the loss of his newborn daughter, marriage breakdown and the loss of his home. He has a fundraiser to help raise funds for a food truck, please consider donating here.


Heather West was a Sous Chef from Port Jefferson, New York. Heather was the Hell's Kitchen Season 2 winner due to her determination and leadership skills.

After Hell's Kitchen, Heather was Senior Chef at Terra Rossa at the Red Rock Casino in Nevada.

She then moved around restaurants working as Head Chef at Monteray Restaurant, Jellyfish Restaurant, Broadway Grill before moving to Schafers in Port Jefferson. She married in 2014 and has two children.


Rock Harper was an Executive Chef from Spotsylvania Courthouse, Virginia. He was the Hell's Kitchen season 3 winner due to his confidence in the kitchen, his leadership skills and ability to motivate the team.

After Hell's Kitchen, Rock worked his year contract at Terra Verde restaurant.

Following this he worked at Ben’s Next Door as Executive Chef, was an instructor at Stratford University and wrote a cookbook called "44 Things Parents Should Know about Healthy Cooking for Kids".

He appeared on Chef Wanted and won an Executive Chef position at The Precinct but didn't take up the position. He has been also involved with many businesses in an advisory capacity.


Christina Machamer was a student from St. Louis, Missouri. She was the Hell's Kitchen season 4 winner due to her great potential.

After Hell's Kitchen, Christina was offered the position of Senior Sous Chef rather than Executive Chef and she worked at London West Holywood for 10 months before moving to Thomas Keller’s Bouchon Bistro.

After leaving her position, she returned to school where she trained to be a sommelier and now lives in Napa valley. She was Director of Wine and Culinary at B Cellars Vineyards & Winery and now manages the Caldwell Vineyard. She is also a personal chef.


Danny Veltri was an Executive Chef from Edgewater, Florida.Danny was the Hell's Kitchen season 5 winner due to his growth on the show, he showed Gordon he had all the necessary skills to be crowned the winner due to his talent and maturity.

After Hell's Kitchen, Danny took up position as a Sous Chef at the Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa in Atlantic City, New Jersey but left after a few months.

He started his own catering company called Back From Hell Catering before moving to Gnarly Surf Bar & Grill, which he helped opened with other investors. He was arrested in 2012 for DUI.


Dave Levey was an Executive Chef from San Diego, California. He was the Hell's Kitchen season 6 winner due to his natural ability in the kitchen.

After Hell's Kitchen, Dave took up the position at Araxi Restaurant until the end of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games. The position he was offered turned out to be a line cook position and not a Head Chef position as he had expected.

He returned to New Jersey where he worked in a number of kitchens and he was arrested as part of a drugs bust in 2014 but was not charged. Dave is currently Head Baker at Mara’s Café & Bakery in Denville.


Holli Ugalde was a Banquet Chef from San Bernardino, California. She was the Hell's Kitchen season 7 winner due to her growth in confidence and ability during the process.

After Hell's Kitchen, Holli was not given the position in London due to visa issues, something Holli disputes. She claims she isn't even sure they applied for it as she never completed any paperwork and instead accepted an undisclosed amount of cash as her prize.

She briefly returned to being a Chef in a hotel in Florida before starting a lifestyle programme called SENS Wellness and is also an Eco-Luxe Designer at Colheita Lighting.


Nona Sivley was a Sous Chef from Atlanta, Georgia. She was the Hell's Kitchen season 8 winner due to her impressive improvement during the series and her passion for cooking.

After Hell's Kitchen, Nona took up the Head Chef position at LA Market, with her winning menu being add to the restaurant menu. She left after three years to help her mentor Kerry Simon open his first restaurant Pork & Beans. After the restaurant opened she started her own catering business called Sizzling Peach.


Paul Niedermann was a Sous Chef from Davie, Florida. Paul was the Hell's Kitchen Season 9 winner due to his passion and determination and he dedicated the win to his mother who had passed away a few months prior.

After Hell's Kitchen, Paul went to work at BLT Steak but not as Head Chef. He left to become Executive Chef at Hudson at Waterway East and was later Exeucitve Chef at Racks Restaurant Management Group.

Paul is currently Corporate Executive Chef at SALT7.


Christina Wilson was a Chef from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was the Hell's Kitchen season 10 winner beating Justin in the final due to her passion, talent and leadership skills.

After Hell's Kitchen, Christina took the Head Chef position at Gordon Ramsay Steak before moving to become Executive Chef at Gordon Ramsay BurGR in Planet Hollywood Casino. She works closely with Gordon, now overseeing both his Vegas restaurants as Executive Corporate Chef.

She has appeared on Hell's Kitchen as a Sous Chef on seasons 15, 17 and 18. She also worked in the kitchen behind the scenes on Hotel Hell and 24 Hours to Hell and Back where she trains chefs and helps develop new menus.


Ja'Nel Witt was an Executive Chef from Houston, Texas. Ja'Nel was the Hell's Kitchen season 11 winner but did not take up the position after allegedly failing a drugs test, she was however offered the $250,000 prize money.

After Hell's Kitchen, Ja'Nel was Executive Chef at Corner Table before moving to Sammy's Steakhouse. She is currently Executive Chef at Sonoma Wine Bar & Restaurant. Ja'Nel also did a number of cookery demonstrations, events and hosted cookery classes.


Scott Commings was an Executive Chef from Woodstock, Illinois. He was the Hell's Kitchen season 12 winner due to his passion, determination and leadership skills.

After Hell's Kitchen, Scott took up his position as the Head Chef at Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill at Caesars Palace before becoming Executive Chef of Freedom Beat at The Downtown Grand Hotel and Casino. He is also Co-Founder of BLT Foods Las Vegas. In 2018 he opened Stove in Las Vegas with co-owner Antonio Nunez.


La Tasha McCutchen was a Kitchen Supervisor from Winter Haven, Florida. La Tasha was the Hell's Kitchen season 13 winner due to her strong leadership skills, cooking ability and her determination.

After Hell's Kitchen, La Tasha took up the head chef position at Gordon Ramsay's Pub & Grill at Caesars Atlantic City for a year before becoming a Private Chef. She also does pop up dining events and cookery demonstrations.


Meghan Gill was an Executive Chef from Roanoke, Virginia. Meghan was the Hell's Kitchen season 14 winner due to her passion, determination and leadership skills.

After Hell's Kitchen, Meghan took up the winners head chef position at Gordon Ramsay's Pub & Grill at Caesars Atlantic City.


Ariel Malone was a Country Club Chef from Hackensack, New Jersey. She was the Hell's Kitchen season 15 winner due to her confidence in the kitchen, cooking ability and her outspoken nature.

After Hell's Kitchen, Ariel took up the head chef position at BLT Steak at Bally's Las Vegas until January 2017 before moving on to other opportunities. She has had three children including twin girls.


Kimberly Ann Ryan was an Event Chef from Traverse City, Michigan. Kimberly was the Hell's Kitchen season 16 winner due to her skills, drive and command in the kitchen.

After Hell's Kitchen, Kimberly took up the head chef position at Yardbird Southern Table & Bar at The Venetian Las Vegas.


Michelle Tribble was from New York City and competed in season 14, where she came in 3rd place.

Michelle was the Hell's Kitchen season 17 winner based on her performance in the finale and throughout the season.

After Hell's Kitchen, Michelle up the position of Head Chef at the Caesars Palace Hell’s Kitchen in Las Vegas with a salary of $250,000.


Ariel Contreras-Fox was from Brooklyn, New York, is a veteran contestant and competed in season 6, where she finished in 3rd place.

Ariel Contreras-Fox was the Hells Kitchen Season 18 winner due to her tremendous growth since her original appearance on Hell's Kitchen. She proved her talent, leadership and determination throughout and offered runner up Mia a position.

After Hell's Kitchen, Ariel took up the position as Executive chef position at Hell's Kitchen Restaurant at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada until March 2020.

In May 2020 she became Vice President of Culinary at Del Frisco's Double Eagle, Del Frisco's Grille, and Dos Caminos.

Kori Sutton was an Executive Chef from Los Angeles, California. Kori Sutton was the Hell's Kitchen season 19 winner.

After Hell's Kitchen, Kori continued to offer private chef services and will take up the position of Head chef position at Gordon Ramsay Hell's Kitchen Restaurant in Lake Tahoe.


Trenton Garvey was an Executive chef from Union, Missouri. He was the Hell's Kitchen season 20 winner after Gordon reviewed the comment cards for their menus.

After Hell's Kitchen, Trenton is executive chef of The Blue Duck.

MasterChef US Winners Where Are They Now?

MasterChef features MasterChef judges Gordon Ramsay, Graham Elliot, Joe Bastianich, Christina Tosi and Aarón Sánchez testing the culinary skills of amateur chefs from the USA with a number of challenges and dishes to prepare, with those failing to impress being sent home.

The winner of MasterChef wins $250,000, their own cookbook and a MasterChef trophy. Continue reading below to find out what happened next to the MasterChef USA winners.


Whitney Miller was a College Student from Poplarville, Mississippi. She was the MasterChef season 1 winner due to her natural ability in the kitchen.

After MasterChef, Whitney returned to college to complete her degree and released her cook book Modern Hospitality: Simple Recipes with Southern Charm and further released Whitney Miller’s New Southern Table.

She has stayed heavily involved in cooking with many published recipes, television cookery segments, recipe development, cookery demonstrations and competitions and consultancy work.

She is also a food stylist and can be hired through her website.

Whitney launched cookie company Whitney's Cookies in 2020 offering mail order cookies.


Jennifer Behm was a Realtor from Wilmington, Delaware. She was the MasterChef Season 2 winner after her three course dinner consisting of scallops, quail and a poached pear impressed the judges.

After MasterChef, Jennifer did a number of cookery events/demonstrations, started her own catering company Pink Martini Catering.

In 2015, she opened restaurant Red Fin Crudo with her husband Julio. The restaurant closed in July 2020 with the owners saying they will be offering private chef services.

Jennifer appeared in MasterChef season 10 alongside other past winners.


Christine Hà was a student from Houston, Texas. She was the MasterChef Season 3 winner due to her menu in the final.

After MasterChef, Christine Ha's cookbook Recipes from My Home Kitchen: Asian and American Comfort Food was published.

She offered private chef services, is a brand ambassador and a food blogger.

Christine co-hosts a television show Four Senses, a cookery programme for those with visual impairments, judged MasterChef Vietnam and appeared on MasterChef US.

In 2014, she received the Helen Keller Personal Achievement Award.

Christine opened her first restaurant The Blind Goat in Houston in July 2019 and second restaurant Xin Chao with Tony J. Nguyen in 2020.


Luca Manfé was a Restaurant Manager from Astoria, New York. He was the MasterChef season 4 winner due to his three course meal impressing the judges and was praised by Gordon for his short ribs.

After MasterChef, Luca launched his cook book "My Italian Kitchen: Favorite Family Recipes". He also launched personal catering service Dinner with Luca and food truck The Lucky Fig but this closed after around a year.

He hosted online cookery classes with other MasterChef winners and does cookery demonstrations and dining experiences.

Luca is a brand ambassador for Donna Italia.


Courtney Lapresi was a Dancer from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was the MasterChef season 5 winner due to her eclectic three course meal impressing the judges.

After MasterChef, Courtney released cookbook "Everyday Fancy: 65 Easy, Elegant Recipes for Meals, Snacks, Sweets, and Drinks" and she now works in sales for Tesla.



Claudia Sandoval was an Events Manager from La Mesa, California. She was the MasterChef season 6 winner due to her three course Mexican meal impressing the judge in the final.

After MasterChef, Claudia released cookbook "Claudia's Cocina: A Taste of Mexico", launched catering business Claudia's Cocina, has been a brand ambassador for large brands, hosted cookery classes and online cookery classes with other MasterChef winners.

Claudia became a judge on MasterChef Latino and opened El Cochi Dorado, a Mexican Bakery in June 2020.


Shaun O'Neale was a DJ from Las Vegas, Nevada. Shaun was the MasterChef season 7 winner due to his halibut, venison and pear dishes impressing the judges.

After MasterChef, Shaun released cookbook "My Modern American Table: Recipes for Inspired Home Cooks", has hosted a number of pop up dining events, cookery demonstrations and hosted online cookery classes with other MasterChef winners.

Shaun became co-owner of The Blind Pig in 2020 and is opening his own restaurant Larrea Las Vegas in 2021.


Dino Angelo Luciano was a Dancer from Bensonhurst, New York. He was the MasterChef season 8 winner due to his unique menu with a twist of traditional dishes of squid ink pasta, lamb chop and tiramisu.

After MasterChef, Dino has hosted a number of exclusive dinners and pop up dining experiences as The Gourmet Rabbit and was Executive Chef at Muse and Market in Phoenix.

Dino also posts recipes on YouTube


Gerron Hurt was an English Teacher from Louisville, Kentucky. He was the MasterChef season 9 winner due to his southern themed menu being well received by the judges.

After MasterChef, Gerron has appeared at a number of cookery events in Louisville and launched Family on a Plate LLC, offering private dining experiences and cooking classes.

In 2019, he took part in Camp Masterchef, was a travelling chef and returned to MasterChef in season 10 for a special wedding episode where Gordon officiated his marriage.

Gerron launched his own food truck Southern Ego with rave reviews, especially for his fried chicken.


Dorian Hunter was a Creeler from Cartersville, Georgia. Dorian Hunter is the MasterChef season 10 winner. Her final menu of scallops, short rib and lemon blueberry tart was well received by the judges.

After MasterChef, Dorian will take up training at the restaurants of the three judges. She plans to start working on her cookbook now her win is public and to use her winnings to contribute towards opening a restaurant.

Kelsey Murphy was a Physical therapist from Indianapolis, Indiana. Kelsey was the MasterChef Season 11 winner after her menu of lobster and crab ravioli, duck, blueberry and lavender panna cotta impressed the judges.

After Masterchef, Kelsey will be working with Grubhub to share her recipes along with other MasterChef favourites.
